I was supposed to re-imagine Joia's artwork and it was all about feminine beauty and how the figure in her artwork was turning into a plant. I tried to make it look like vines were growing up the leg of my model. Text was also a very central focal point in Joia's artwork so rather than just using words I put a quote relating to beauty at the bottom of the image. I'm not sure if this turned out as strong as I would have liked it to and will probably spend even more time working on it in the future.

Reimagine This
Growth Artwork This semester I hope to create a new concentration series that I am really passionate about and proud of. My comfort zone is definitely photography, but I really want to explore and become more mixed media before the end of the year. Over break I went out and took pictures of my adorable little sisters.
